Redsun reads your TE Recruit jobs, candidates, contacts and companies through the Top Echelon API, publishes the roles you post to your Job Board as pages on your website, and adds every applicant to that job's pipeline with their CV and a note of where they came from.
An integration you create in TE Recruit, then one sign-in.
In TE Recruit, go to Settings, Top Echelon API, Manage API Credentials and create an integration with read and write access, using the redirect address Redsun shows you. Paste its client ID and secret into Redsun and press Connect. The API is part of TE Recruit's Professional tier.
- The Job Board tick in TE Recruit is your publish switch: an open role you have not posted stays off your site
- Top Echelon publishes no webhooks, so changes arrive on the hourly sync or when you press Sync now, and once a day every unfinished role is read in full so roles closed in TE Recruit come off the site
- Top Echelon allows 50 API calls a minute and 500 an hour, shared with your other integrations, so Redsun reads from search results and fetches a full advert only for roles it will publish

Job Board roles as job pages
Open roles posted to your TE Recruit Job Board come across with the advert, location, advertised pay, job type and remote option, and become job pages on your site. Featured roles keep their featured flag.
Applicants on the job pipeline
A website application adds the candidate to the job's pipeline in TE Recruit, in the pipeline's default stage, so they sit with everyone else on that role.
CV as the current resume
The CV the candidate uploaded on your site is attached to their TE Recruit record and marked as their current resume.
Application notes
Each application adds an activity to the candidate's record saying how they applied, with their phone, LinkedIn and cover letter. It uses your Note activity type, or another you name.
Candidates, contacts and companies
Candidates, client contacts and hiring managers come across on TE Recruit's own type flags, along with companies and your TE Recruit users. Employer enquiries from your site are created as contacts.
Duplicate check by email
Before creating anyone, Redsun looks the applicant up by email in TE Recruit and uses the existing record, so a returning candidate is not entered twice.

- Which TE Recruit roles appear on my website? +
- Open roles you have posted to your Job Board in TE Recruit. An open role you have not posted stays off your site, and a role you close, fill or put on hold comes off it at the next sync.
- What do I need to connect Top Echelon? +
- TE Recruit's Professional tier, which includes the API, and a user with permission to manage API credentials, by default your account's main contact. They create an integration under Settings, Top Echelon API, Manage API Credentials, paste its client ID and secret into Redsun and press Connect.
- Are placements synced from TE Recruit? +
- No. Top Echelon's API returns placements one job at a time, with no salary or fee and no guaranteed placement date, and reading them for every filled role would use up the hourly API allowance. Jobs, candidates, contacts, companies and users are synced.
