Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Redsun Innovations Ltd (trading as "Redsun") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our platform.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They cannot be disabled.

  • rs_cookie_consent - Stores your cookie consent preferences
  • sb-*-auth-token - Authentication session management
  • redsun_onboarding_handoff - Carries your theme and brand choices into setup

Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization.

  • theme - Stores your light/dark mode preference
  • locale - Remembers your language preference

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. These cookies are only set if you opt in — until you accept analytics, Google Tag Manager runs in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode) and no analytics cookies are stored.

  • _ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics visitor and session measurement

Session Analytics Cookies

We use Contentsquare on this site to see how people move through pages — what gets clicked, how far people scroll, where a form gets abandoned — and to replay individual sessions so we can find what broke. These cookies are only set if you opt in. The Contentsquare script is not loaded at all until you accept analytics, so declining leaves it absent rather than dormant, and nothing is recorded before you choose.

  • _cs_id - Anonymous visitor reference, visit count and timestamps, 13 months
  • _cs_s - Current session state, 30 minutes from your last page view
  • _cs_c - Your masking preference for session replay, 13 months

Contentsquare processes this for us as a data processor, and is listed on our Subprocessors page. Their own full cookie list is at docs.contentsquare.com.

Recognition Cookie On Agency Sites

Recruitment agency websites built on Redsun set one first-party cookie when a visitor follows a tracking link the agency sent from its own CRM. It records which contact the visit belongs to, so the agency's consultants can see that someone they already work with has been on the site.

This one is set under legitimate interests rather than the consent banner, because the visitor is an existing business contact of the agency and the recognition only works on that agency's own site. Full detail is in section 4 of our Privacy Policy, including how to object. Visitors who arrive without a tracking link are not recognised, and their behaviour is only measured in this detail if they accept analytics cookies.

  • rs_vid - Opaque contact reference, first-party, 90 days, no personal details stored in the cookie itself

Change or withdraw your consent at any time — it's as easy as giving it.
