Redsun reads the roles you share through SourceWhale's Shareable Job Posts, publishes them as job pages on your site, and adds each applicant to the matching SourceWhale project with a link to their CV.
An API key and your Shareable Job Posts link.
SourceWhale's API has no endpoint for job data, so roles are read from your Shareable Job Posts feed. Paste the share link SourceWhale gives you and Redsun pulls the team ID out of it. The API key covers everything else.
- Only roles you have chosen to share appear, which makes the share toggle in SourceWhale your publish switch
- Contacts created or updated in SourceWhale reach Redsun by webhook, registered for you from the Connections screen
- SourceWhale has no contact list endpoint, so people who were already in SourceWhale before you connect are not imported

Shared roles as job pages
Each shared role comes across with its public title, advert, location, working pattern and contract type, and salary where you have chosen to show it.
Applicants on the project
A website applicant is created as a SourceWhale contact and attached to the role's project in the same call, so they sit in the right pipeline from the start.
CV as a link
SourceWhale's API has no document upload, so the CV reaches the recruiter as a stable link on the contact record.
Contact webhook
New and updated SourceWhale contacts are pushed to Redsun as they change, authenticated by a private token in the callback address.
Outreach activity
SourceWhale campaign totals are counted per sector and feed your market intelligence report. Samples too small to mean anything are left out.
Sensitive fields left out
SourceWhale contacts carry inferred demographic fields. Redsun never reads or stores them.

- Why does Redsun need my SourceWhale share link? +
- SourceWhale's API does not expose job data, so the only route to your roles is the Shareable Job Posts feed. The share link carries the team ID that feed needs. Redsun reads it from the link you paste, whichever form it takes.
- Will my existing SourceWhale contacts appear in Redsun? +
- No. SourceWhale has no endpoint that lists contacts, so Redsun only sees contacts created or changed after the webhook is registered, plus everyone who applies through your site.
- How do applicants reach SourceWhale? +
- Redsun creates the applicant as a SourceWhale contact and attaches them to the role's project in the same request, with a link to the CV they uploaded.
