AI Transparency

Last updated: April 2026

At Redsun Innovations Ltd, we are committed to transparency about how we use artificial intelligence and automated decision-making in our recruitment platform. This page describes our AI systems and the safeguards we apply to comply with applicable laws in the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, including the UK GDPR, US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidance on AI in hiring, New York City Local Law 144 governing automated employment decision tools (AEDTs), and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

AI Systems We Use

Our platform employs AI to enhance recruitment efficiency. These systems assist—but do not replace—human decision-making:

Resume Parsing

Automatically extracts structured information from uploaded CVs, including work history, skills, education, and certifications. This helps candidates submit their information faster and ensures consistent data capture.

Candidate Matching

Suggests potential matches between candidates and job openings based on skills, experience, location, and stated preferences. Recruiters review all suggestions before taking action.

Salary Insights

Generates market benchmarks and salary recommendations based on anonymized, aggregated industry data. These are advisory and do not determine actual offers.

Content Generation

Assists recruiters in drafting job descriptions and portal content. All AI-generated content is reviewed and edited by humans before publication.

Human Oversight

We maintain meaningful human oversight over all AI-assisted processes:

  • No automated rejections: AI never automatically rejects candidates. All shortlisting decisions are made by humans.
  • Recommendations, not decisions: AI provides suggestions and scores that inform—but don't determine—recruitment outcomes.
  • Recruiter review: All AI-generated matches and insights are reviewed by qualified recruiters before action.
  • Candidate visibility: Candidates can request information about how their profile was processed.

Your Rights

Wherever you are located, you have rights regarding the use of automated processing in recruitment. These rights derive from the UK GDPR, US federal and state employment and privacy laws, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988:

  • Right to explanation: You can request an explanation of how AI was used in processing your application.
  • Right to human review: You can request that a human reviews any AI-assisted decision affecting you. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Right to contest: You can challenge decisions and provide additional context or information.
  • Right to opt out: Where legally required, you can request that your data not be subject to automated processing.
  • NYC Local Law 144 (AEDT) candidates: If you apply to a role advertised by an employer or employment agency operating in New York City, you are entitled to (a) at least 10 business days' advance notice that an automated employment decision tool may be used, (b) a description of the job qualifications and characteristics it considers, and (c) on request, information about the data sources and types collected. Bias audit results are made available where the tool is used in NYC.
  • US EEOC compliance: Our AI systems are designed not to produce disparate impact on protected groups. Customers using the platform in the US remain responsible for their own compliance with Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA and applicable state employment laws.

To exercise these rights, visit our Data Rights Portal or contact ayrton@redsunplatform.com.

Training Data

Our AI models are trained and improved using:

  • Anonymized data only: Personal identifiers are removed before any data is used for model improvement.
  • Aggregated statistics: Market insights are derived from pooled, anonymized data that cannot identify individuals.
  • No individual tracking: We do not use your personal data to build profiles that follow you across different employers.

Third-Party AI Providers

We use the following third-party AI services, each with their own privacy commitments:
