Redsun reads your Ezekia assignments, candidates, clients and users through the Ezekia API. You pick the assignment status that means a role can be advertised, and those roles become pages on your website. Everyone who applies is added to the assignment in Ezekia with their CV and a note of how they applied.
An API token and the status that means advertise.
Generate a token in Ezekia under Settings, Integrations, API Tokens and paste it into Redsun. Ezekia has no public flag on an assignment, so you also name the assignment status your team uses for roles you are happy to advertise. Until you do, nothing is published.
- Only assignments carrying the status you name go on the site. Change the status in Ezekia and the role comes off by the next daily full read at the latest
- Once a day Redsun reads every assignment in full and closes any role that has been archived or removed
- Ezekia records no location or salary on an assignment, so role pages carry neither

Assignments as role pages
Assignments with your chosen status come across with their title, description, client, function and custom fields, and become role pages on your site.
Applicants on the assignment
A website applicant is matched to an existing Ezekia person by email, or created if there is none, and added to the assignment as a candidate.
CV upload
The CV the candidate uploaded on your site is attached to their Ezekia person record.
Application notes
Each application adds a note to the person recording where they applied, with their phone, LinkedIn and cover letter.
Candidates and client contacts
People who have been candidates on an assignment come across as candidates. The contacts attached to your live assignments come across as client contacts, and hiring managers from your employer wells are created in Ezekia.
Clients, users and opportunities
Your Ezekia clients, users and business development opportunities sync too, and your users feed the consultant profiles on your site. Ezekia keeps no placement records, so none come across.

- How do I choose which Ezekia assignments appear on my website? +
- On the Connections screen, enter the Ezekia assignment status your team uses for roles you want to advertise. Assignments with that status are published. Every other assignment stays off the site, and with no status set nothing is published. Test connection lists the statuses in your Ezekia account so you can pick one.
- Where does the Ezekia API token come from? +
- An Ezekia user generates it under Settings, Integrations, API Tokens. Redsun reads and writes as that user, so applicants and notes appear as their activity.
- Does Ezekia push changes to Redsun instantly? +
- No. Redsun cannot register a webhook with Ezekia through its API, so it polls: every hour on schedule, or straight away when you press Sync now on the Connections screen.
